What a collect call is to voice, TextCollect is to text messaging. The TextCollect platform allows mobile subscribers to pay (by mobile account debit) for messages sent to them by another mobile user, effectively subsidizing the sender’s cost.

With TextBack, the sender prepays (by mobile account debit) for the reply of the other party. Both solutions allow the exchange of text messaging regardless of sender’s account balance.

The option to prepay for incoming SMS or to request that the recipient pay for outgoing SMS has significantly increased SMS traffic and associated revenue.
